The hotel will become a full-service hotel with several dining options, with plans to improve its spa facilities and undergo an incremental facelift, which will conclude by August 2012. The revamp will similarly include a refurbishment of its public and pool area, and redesigning of the guest rooms.

New 300-room Waldorf Astoria Chengdu to open in second quarter of 2016 in Chengdu, China. Planned openings include Waldorf Astoria Beijing in 2013, and Waldorf Astoria Baoting and Waldorf Astoria Sanya, both on Hainan Island in 2015 and 2016, respectively.

Centara Grand Nusa Dua Resort & Villas, the second resort hotel to be opened in Bali by Thai hotel operator Centara Hotels & Resorts, is slated to be soft-opened in the third quarter of 2012.

YTL Hotels is slated to launch Gaya Island Resort, Borneo. It has 121 stand-alone hill villas offering a view of the ocean and a Mount Kinabalu view for most villas.

Elevated at 1,000 feet, Villa Idanna lies within the regency of Karangasem, in the village of Sidemen. The property has two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and one kids’ room, all under one roof with al-fresco seating areas, a library, and a 20-meter private swimming pool.

The Novotel Phuket Vintage Park, a new-build resort located in the main tourist area of Patong, features 303 rooms. The property is the 11th Novotel hotel in Thailand and the second in Phuket.

Keraton at The Plaza is part of The Luxury Collection Hotels & Resorts, which is part of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. It is the 80th hotel for the brand, and its first hotel in Jakarta. The interior design was developed with SCDA Singapore and BuregaFarnell Pte. Ltd.

The property is slated to be launched in 2015. It joins 129 open hotels, and the company’s development pipeline of 121 projects, totaling more than 75,000 rooms in 15 countries.
