India-based Mirah Hospitality has announced plans to invest Rs5000m ($94 million) to open nine new properties in the next two years in North Indian cities.
The company is to boost inventory from 535 rooms to more than 2,500 by year-end 2013. Currently, Best Western operates two hotels in the resort island of Bali, BEST WESTERN Resort Kuta and BEST WESTERN Kuta Beach; as well as two properties in Java's key metropolitan regions, BEST WESTERN PREMIER Solo and BEST WESTERN Mangga Dua Hotel & Residence, Jakarta.
Announcing the launch of Hotel de la Paix Cha Am Beach Hua Hin and Hotel de la Paix Luang Prabang. Both properties feature designs by Thailand architect Duangrit Bunnag.
Situated at Hung To Road, Kwun Tong, the property features 361 rooms, including eight rooms specially designed for physically challenged guests. Highlights of the hotel include suites that offer space of up to 420 square feet.
Situated in the entertainment district of Patong, the hotel offers 44 rooms ranging in size from 22 square meters to 58 square meters, with categories from standard rooms all the way to two-bedroom apartments for short term and long-stay guests

The 565-room property is under construction by Xi’an Haoxianglai Investment Holding Co. in China's Shaanxi Province. The property adds to Wyndham Hotel Group’s 422 hotels already in operation and the 47 properties currently under development in the country.
