Agilysys develops new property management system
By HMA Staff 16 July 2010
IT solution provider Agilysys has developed a new property management system, which it unveiled at last month’s HITEC in Orlando, US.
The Guest 360 solution is a full-function property management system built from the ground up to utilize Services-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
The open database and cross-platform solution takes an entirely new approach to inventory, using the same attributes-based criteria hoteliers use to sell rooms, such as 'view,' 'bed type,' 'room class' and 'smoking/nonsmoking.' Another key differentiator of the Guest 360 solution is an improved security process, according to the company. While the solution has the ability to use Active Directory for user set-up efficiency, it also allows internal audit and security staff to authorize access to users and user roles at the field level.
The Guest 360 property management system also features a centralized repository for guest profiles called Guest Hub, which contains guest history, itineraries, interests and preferences.
