Carlson Rezidor increases footprint in India

Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group has announced the opening of the Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel in Hyderabad, a move which takes the group's presence in india to 54 hotels.
"Our current portfolio of close to 100 operating and pipeline hotels places us in a strong position in maintaining our leadership position as the largest international hotel group in India," said Simon C Barlow, Carlson Rezidor's Asia Pacific president.
"We will continue to boost our presence in key cities in north and south India to cater to the growing domestic travel."
A feature of the Bangalore hotel will be India's first Dilmah Tea Bar, which will showcase 26 varieties of tea as well as a range of tea-infused beverages.
Radisson Blue Plaza Hotel Hyderabad Banjara Hills has 142 rooms and 13 suites. The hotel is owned by DAAJ Hotels and Resorts.
