Vietnam hotels in F&B alliance with hospitality schools10 October 2012
Three five-star hotels in Vietnam, the Rex and Renaissance Riverside Saigon and Pandanus Resort in Binh Thuan, have agreed to work with local hospitality schools and courses to improve training and working conditions for hospitality graduates.
The partnership will look at improving better conditions for internship and a curriculum which addresses the actual demand of the market.
Rex Hotel, general director Tao Van Nghe said the Rex intend to recruit graduates of the Saigon Tourist Hospitality College.
The program was launched by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Norwegian Federation of Enterprises and Business Associations.
A similar program was launched for the auto industry recently exchanging Vietnamese teachers with Norwegian vocational schools with hopes of improved English language and skills.
