Tokyo Station Hotel open for reservations

The refurbished Tokyo Station Hotel has announced it is accepting room and restaurant reservations ahead of its grand opening set for October 3.

British interior design firm Richmond International has been responsible for the interior fit out, which combines European classicism and modernism.

The hotel offers 250 rooms inside the Tokyo Station Marunouchi Building, which is designated as an Important Cultural Asset in Japan.

The hotel is located near the Imperial Palace and has good access to all transport, including the Shinkansen Bullet Train.

There are six types of guest rooms: Classic, Palace Side, Dome Side, Maisonette offering a two floor structure, Suite and the 173 square metre Royal Suite which faces Gyoko Street which leads to the Imperial Palace. 

The hotel also includes a French restaurant "Blanc Rouge."
