Thai resort launches interactive iPad customer experience

Soon-to-open Thai resort The L Resort Krabi has partnered with hospitality software technology company Intelity to launch an interactive customer experience on iPad.

 

The ICE [Interactive Customer Experience] technology is to be offered to guests via iPads in each guestroom enabling guests to order 24-hour room service, schedule an in-room massage, arrange transportation or access up to 30 additional amenities from anywhere in the resort with the touch of a finger.
 
This is the first time the technology has been deployed in Asia, according to the technology firm.
 
Scheduled to open mid-August, The L Resort is located in the Ao Nang beach area of the Krabi Province, Thailand.
