Stefan Huemer joins Jumeirah Group to oversee Maldives launches

Dubai-based luxury hospitality company Jumeirah Group has announced two management appointments for its two upcoming properties in the Maldives.

 

Stefan Huemer joins Jumeirah Group as area general manager for the Maldives, with a particular remit to lead the pre-opening team of Jumeirah's first two resorts in the Maldives, set to open in the first quarter of 2011.

 

Most recently, Huemer was the general manager of Intercontinental Los Angeles Century City Hotel. He was previously based in the Maldives as regional general manager and island chief for the Kuredu & Komandoo Island Resort & Spa.

 

Alexandre Hulen has been appointed as director of sales & marketing for the Maldives. He previously worked at the Anantara Group, overseeing the Sales and Marketing activities of three luxury hotels in the Maldives.
