Solís to open a first hotel in China

Chinese real estate developer China Vanke Company Limited has joined forces with Solis Hotels & Resorts to launch the Solís Hotels & Resorts brand in China.

The 200-room Solís Vanke Center, Shenzhen, China will be connected to a 8,000sqm Conference and Exhibition centre with a Grand Ballroom of 1,100 square-meters, an Auditorium seating 469, two Video Conferencing Rooms and seven Meeting and Board Rooms.

The property will open in two phases with the conference centre estimated to open end of June, 2011 followed by the hotel opening in the second quarter of 2012.

Solís Hotels & Resorts, headed by one of the world’s leading luxury hoteliers, Horst Schulze, is a collection of resorts, hotels and residences with properties in Ireland, Jamaica and Florida. The company has corporate offices in Singapore and the United States.
