Sivatel Bangkok to offer in-room IPTV

The Sivatel Bangkok has announced it is to offer interactive high-definition IPTV (Internet Protocol TV) on Apple platform and IP Phone.
The hotel, due to open in October, claims to be the first hotel in Thailand to offer the advanced technology service.
According to the company, the technology will allow guests to access a range of pay Video-on-Demand services, as well as travel information such as real-time flight information, weather, world time, Youtube, Google Map via in room wireless keyboard and LCD screen.
Information and highlights of the dining services and facilities of the hotel, including billing, will also be available, the hotel said.
Sivatel Tower is a two-billion-baht mixed-use building, developed and managed by the owning company Sivayathorn Co., Ltd. The 32-storey property comprises two zones - Podium and Tower - and features the 75-key all-suite hotel named Sivatel Bangkok, plus a 10-unit serviced residence named Sivatel Suites.
The building also contains eight-floor office spaces, a health club and spa, and five F&B outlets.
