Shangri-la opens new property in Beijing

Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts has opened its latest property in the Asia Pacific region – the China World Summit Wing Hotel in Beijing.
 
Located on the top floor of the China World Tower building, the hotel features 278 guest rooms including 29 suites.
 
One of the key features at the hotel is The Summit Lobby (pictured), the hotel's main entrance, which has an area size of 1,780 square metres and a ceiling soaring up nine metres.
 
"The opening of China World Summit Wing, Beijing, together with our existing portfolio of hotels in central Beijing, will allow us to meet the growing demand by multi-tiered market segments for luxury accommodation and comprehensive meeting facilities in China's capital," commented Shangri-La president and CEO Greg Dogan.
 
In addition to the China World Summit Wing Hotel, Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts also operates in Beijing the Shangri -La Kerry Centre Hotel, the Shangri-La Hotel Beijing, the Traders Hotel Beijing, and the Traders Upper East Hotel Beijing.
