Shangri-La to open a hotel in Yingkou

Shangri-La Asia Limited has announced plans to develop a new hotel in Yingkou, a coastal city located in the north-western portion of the Liaodong Peninsula in Liaoning Province, China.
 
The 400-room Shangri-La Hotel, Yingkou will open in 2015. It will bring the total number of hotels in the region to eight in the next few years.
 
Hong Kong-based Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, one of the world's premier hotel companies, currently owns and/or manages 72 hotels under the Shangri-La, Kerry and Traders brands, with a room inventory of over 30,000.
 
The group has a substantial development pipeline with upcoming projects in Canada, mainland China, India, Malaysia, Mongolia, Philippines, Qatar, Sri Lanka, Turkey and United Kingdom.
