Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts to open hotel in Nanchang

Hong Kong-based Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts has announced it will open a new hotel in Nanchang, China in the second quarter of 2013.
The Shangri-La Hotel, Nanchang will be located in a multi-use complex built in two phases in the Honggutan New District.
Phase I will include 319 guestrooms with meeting and function space and recreation facilities. Phase II of the project will include a residential component, shopping area and office tower.
Room sizes will range from 42 to 52 square metres, with the size of the hotel's 18 suites ranging from 84 to 210 square metres.
The Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts currently owns and/or manages 69 hotels under the Shangri-La and Traders brands, with a room inventory of over 30,000.
