Macau casino owner and operator Sands China has named Edward M. Tracy as its new president and CEO. He was formerly president and chief operating officer of the company.

Tracy has served as president and chief operating officer of the company since July 2010, when he was appointed to the position as part of a series of management changes following the departure of former CEO Steve Jacobs.

Tracy’s previous experience includes serving as CEO of the Trump Organization, during which he was responsible for managing over 12,500 employees, 3,000 luxury rooms and 240,000 square feet of casino space.

Prior to that, Tracy served as vice president and general manager of Sands Hotel and Casino in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

In addition, Michael A. Leven, who was appointed as acting CEO on 23 July 2010, has been re-designated to non-Executive director of Sands China Ltd.
