Resorts World Sentosa implements BMC software solutions

By HMA Staff 21 June 2010

Singapore resort destination Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) has implemented a BMC software solution to manage its IT processes.

RWS announced it has selected key pieces of BMC’s Business Service Management (BSM) platform to manage and automate key ITIL processes across its IT infrastructure.
RWS aims to draw more than 12 million guests this year with a range of attractions that include Southeast Asia’s only Universal Studios theme park, six hotels, a casino and the world’s largest oceanarium. The mega resort occupies more than 121 acres and will employ more than 10,000 people when fully open.

“During the selection process, we came to recognize BMC Software as the established leader in the service management arena,” said Yap Chee Yuen, senior vice president and head of information technology at RWS. “BMC Remedy IT Service Management Suite had top ratings from leading analyst firms and customers alike. We chose BMC Software because the BMC Remedy ITSM Suite stood out in many respects including ease of use, superb integration, high scalability and reliability.”
