Regal iClub Hotel in Hong Kong has recently received the CarbonCare Champion Label, the highest level of Carbon Care.

The CarbonCare Labeling Scheme encourages and recognizes the efforts of organizations, entities and groups in tackling climate change in three steps which are measuring, reducing and offsetting carbon footprints. The Champion Label is the highest level of CarbonCare Label which means 100% reduction, at around 368.36 tones, awarded for carbon neutrality status.

“We are proud to receive this highest label status. Carbon Management creates a very positive image for the Hotel and Regal Hotels International in general and we have received positive feedbacks from both stakeholders and customers. ” said Glen Farmer, general manager of Regal iClub Hotel.

Measuring for the Carbon Neutral Program taken in the Hotel include calculating its carbon footprint according to global standards of ISO 14064 and GHG Protocol and reduce and offset its carbon emissions from the hotel’s use of electricity, gas, and water.
