Regal Hotels Intl. ties up with Evergreen

Hong Kong hotel group Regal Hotels International (RHI) has entered into a partnership with hotel chain Evergreen International Hotels, aimed the two companies said at creating a mutual beneficial platform for hotel business development and resources sharing.

“We are confident that this alliance will create synergies and bring mutual benefits to both parties,” RHI said in a statement.

Regal Hotels International is one of the largest hotel operators in Hong Kong. The Group operates six hotels in Hong Kong, plus three in Shanghai. Additional projects under development include Regal Xindu Hotel in Chengdu as well as Regal Kangbo Hotel in Dezhou.

Evergreen Group is a Taiwan-based conglomerate in Taiwan with activities in various sectors including sea, land, and air freight service, as well as air transport and hotel operation. Evergreen International Hotels, its hotel division, currently operates 10 five-star hotels in Taiwan and overseas.
