The Paul Hotels implements RateTiger’s Channelmanager

By Mick Tan 04 July 2012

RateTiger has announced that The Paul Resorts & Hotels has implemented advanced allocation management capabilities through RateTiger’s Channelmanager to “further develop its revenue management operations to improve rate parity across multiple online sales bookings channels”.

The Indian hotel group, which has been selling across 15 online channels, reportedly wanted to ensure the same rates were available to customers across all channels. However, managing many OTAs manually was becoming a challenge, especially when guests were discovering rate inconsistencies. Also, the properties experience high demand, hence managing inventory intelligently became a necessity to maximize revenues.

The hotel group sells across global booking portals, as well as regional OTAs with the prospect to add more channels in the coming months. Thus far, the additional sales exposure led to increased direct bookings to the website while keeping each property high in the search rankings.

Since a percentage of reservations come from third party distribution websites, Channelmanager helps hoteliers with the exercise of updating third party distribution websites. Channelmanager allows for central maintenance of distribution channels by using a single interface.

RateTiger, one of the longest serving channel management solution on the market, offers bespoke products for hotels of all sizes, with connectivity to over 750 sales channels.
