The Park Hyatt Sydney to undergo renovation

By HMA Staff 16 July 2010
The Park Hyatt Sydney is to undergo its largest ever renovation.

The multi-million dollar design upgrade, which will be overseen by design firm BARstudio, will include the addition of three luxury rooftop suites and significant changes to all areas of the hotel, the hotel’s management said.

It will include a redesign of the hotel guest rooms, including architectural fixtures and finishes, custom-designed contemporary lighting, new furniture and the addition of artwork by local artists.

The renovation will take place during the hotel winter period to minimize disruption to guests, said Park Hyatt Sydney general manager Andrew Mensforth.

“Our primary focus remains our valued guests. We look forward to proceeding with our proposed renovation as this transformation will provide for an enhanced guest experience and a new benchmark in luxury,” he said.
