New GM at Fairmont Beijing

Fairmont Beijing has announced the appointment of Michael A Ganster as the hotel's general manager.
An Austrian national, Ganster comes to the role after a period in Thailand, as general manager at the dusitD2 baraquda pattaya - a boutique property.
"I'm delighted that my first position with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, a company with an incredible history of hospitality and of great global influence, is at such a prominent property as Fairmont Beijing," Mr Ganster said.
