MSI selects Windsurfer for its cloud

By Lachlan Colquhoun 18 July 2012

Solutions provider MSI (Multi-Systems) has chosen the Windsurfer CRS for integration to CloudPM, its next generation, cloud based, property management offering.

Windsurfer, which is commonly used in non-branded hotels, gives hotels greater web interface capabilities, including mobile apps and branding features, and is easily customisable for hotel portfolios of any size.

Rick Munson, chief of MSI, said Windsurfer was chosen for CloudPM because of its simplicity and accessibility, which translated into increased revenue and profitability. It encouraged higher conversion through presenting superior content to guests in an engaging way.

"Today's cloud computing adds tremendous value to hotels," said Munson. "CloudPM is a practical system convergence because it provides a reliable web-based property management system and reservation system with seamless integration and an affordable monthly subscription."

CloudPM was officially launched at HITEC, held in Baltimore in June.
