Minor Hotel Group names new operational exec

Minor Hotel Group has appointed Michael Marshall as senior vice president commercial operations. He will be based in Bangkok.
Marshall, who is British, will lead the disciplines of sales, marketing and revenue & distribution for the company, whose portfolio includes the Anantara and AVANI brands. Marshall joins MHG from Millennium Hotels & Resorts where he was vice president sales & marketing for the Middle East and Africa, based in Abu Dhabi.
He previously served at IHG, where he worked between 1989 and 2005 holding various marketing and sales positions before becoming director of marketing programmes for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
