Marriott unveils new guest room designs
09 June 2010
Marriot Hotels & Resorts has unveiled three guest room decor packages: Refreshing Mint, Sienna Glow and Golden Rouge.
The new guest room designs, which were developed by Mariott's internal design team, are designed to have a custom look and feel, giving owners and franchisees more choice and flexibility.
Golden Rouge is Marriott's current design package, which has been updated with new carpet designs and bed scarves. The new introductions each reflect their names with Refreshing Mint using a colour palette of mint green, chocolate brown and dark burgundy, and Sienna Glow using coral, chocolate brown and golden beige.
Each package also has elements designed specifically for that package in terms of lighting, art, desk chair and wall coverings to match the individual concept.
The first properties to implement the new décor packages will be the 353-room Hanover Marriott Hotel in Whippany, New Jersey; the 334-room Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center in Houston; the 1,408-room Philadelphia Marriott Downtown Convention Center, and the 364-room Boston Marriott Quincy Hotel in Quincy, Massachusettes.
