Marriott planning Edition hotel in Bangkok

Marriott has said it is looking to take its Edition brand to several new locations including Bangkok and Abu Dhabi.
 
Marriott announced the new lifestyle brand which it is developing in partnership with American hotelier and real estate developer Ian Schrager in June 2010.
 
It is understood that the Bangkok property will be owned independently but managed by Marriott. It is expected to open in 2015.
 
Marriott said last month it plans to add five hotels under the Edition brand by 2015 with the other locations being New York, Miami Beach and London.
