Marriott opens largest Courtyard in China

Marriott International has opened its largest hotel in China under its Courtyard by Marriott brand – the Courtyard by Marriott Shanghai Puxi.
The 456-room hotel is owned by Gain Year Development Real Estate Shanghai Company, and operates under a long-term management agreement with Marriott International.
This new hotel is the third Courtyard branded property in Shanghai and joins a local portfolio that includes the 318-room Courtyard by Marriott Hotel Shanghai Pudong and the 364-room Courtyard by Marriott Shanghai Xujiahui.
“Courtyard is a brand that resonates very well here in Shanghai,” said Robert Chiang, general manager of Courtyard by Marriott Shanghai Puxi. “It provides great value to our in-house guests but at the same time brings to the neighborhood a modern, trendy and attractive venue where people can gather, enjoy and relax.”
The hotel is the third largest Courtyard hotel globally.
