Marriott International has been named one of the top employers in China in an annual listing by the CRF Institute. It is the only hotel management company in the winners list.

Companies featured in the list are selected for their outstanding performance in various aspects of human resources such as employee benefits, corporate culture and talent development, according to the CRF.

The list named 32 companies in total selected from more than 920 organizations initially.

“In view of the robust expansion of Marriott International in China, developing talent is crucial to our present and future success. We are committed to identify, train, support and set up clear career paths for our executives and help them develop into future Marriott leaders,” commented Henry Lee, senior vice president, Greater China of Marriott International.

Marriott International currently manages approximately 60 hotels and employs 15,500 associates in China. Its portfolio is expected to increase to 100 hotels by 2015, making it one of the largest hotel groups in this country.

The CRF Institute is an independent organization that runs its proprietary Top Employers projects in key international markets. It identifies top performers in the areas of HR, leadership and strategy and recognizes their achievements. Click here to see the full list of winners.
