Mövenpick Hotel Saigon to reopen in August after renovation
26 May 2010
The Movenpick Hotel Saigon is scheduled to reopen on August 1 after undergoing a restoration project.
The hotel closed early March in order to undertake the transformation.
Changes include redesigned engineering systems, replacement of outdated boilers with heat pumps and instantaneous gas-fired equipment, and a new ‘smart’ building-management control system.
The management has also reallocated space within the interior of the hotel in order to better serve guests. As a result of the changes, the hotel can now accommodate wedding ceremonies of up to 250 attendees.
“We’ve taken the renovation project as impetus for redefining hospitality as it’s generally been known, here and throughout Vietnam,” said Dominik Stamm, general manager, Movenpick Hotel Saigon. “This means innovative promotions for business travelers, meetings, weddings, and other special-interest groups, and a new standard of service for all of our guests.”
