Langham signs for new property in China

Langham Hotels International has announced it has signed a management agreement under its Langham Place brand in the Chinese port city of Ningbo.
The hotel will be the operator’s first flag in one of China’s strategic second tier cities.
Set to open in late 2011, Langham Place will form part of a multi-use complex under development by Ningbo Culture Plaza Investment & Development Company Limited.
The multi-use complex will include commercial, educational, recreational, retail, gallery, exhibition and theatre space.
“The partnership with Ningbo Culture Plaza Investment & Development Company Limited is a strategic milestone for Langham Hotels International as we expand into more key cities in China,” said Langham Hotels International CEO Brett Butcher.
