Langham signs agreement in Shenzhen

Luxury hotels group Langham Hotels International is continuing its rapid expansion in the Asia Pacific region with the announcement of a new signing in Shenzhen, China.
Via a management agreement with Shenzhen East Pacific Group, the group will open The Langham, Shenzhen in the Futian district in 2012.
The 352-room property will form part of the Shenzhen East Pacific International Centre, a complex that includes serviced apartments, luxury retail and commercial space.
Established in 1865 in London, Langham Hotels International is pursuing an aggressive portfolio growth strategy under its three brands: The Langham, Langham Place and Eaton.
It currently has 23 hotels, including affiliates, open or in the pipeline across four continents.
In China, hotels under development include Ningbo (set to open late 2011), Shanghai (opening October 2010), and Guangzhou (2013).
The group opened the Langham Place Beijing Capital Airport in August.
Elsewhere in the Asia Pacific region, Langham Hotels International has new properties in the pipeline for Guangzhou, Phuket, and Bangkok.
