Langham to open Langham Place, Beijing Capital Airport in August

Langham Hotels International has announced that its newest property Langham Place, Beijing Capital Airport will open for business on August 16.

The company claims the hotel will revolutionize the way travelers view airport hotels. Innovations at the 372-room property will include DJs in the lobby and an art gallery.

“We are not just creating a convenient stopover hotel but one of the most fun places to be in the capital of the world’s largest nation. We aim to make staying at the airport in Beijing an exciting thing to do!” said Langham Place, Beijing Capital Airport general manager Mark Francis.

Langham currently has seven hotels in the Asia Pacific region with a further five under development. Properties in the pipeline include Langham Place, Beijing; Langham Place, EDZ, Guangzhou; Langham Place Miora Resort + Spa, Kalim Bay, Phuket; The Langham, Sukhumvit, Bangkok; and Langham Place, Phayathai, Bangkok.
