JAL Hotels to open two Nikko hotels in Suzhou

Japanese hotel chain JAL Hotels is to open two hotels under its luxury brand Nikko Hotels in Suzhou, China.
The first, currently under construction in a suburb of Suzhou, opens October 2010, while the second, Hotel Nikko Suzhou, is slated to open in 2013.
The new properties will bring the number of properties JAL has under Nikko Hotels in China to 11.
In addition to the Suzhou hotels, JAL Hotels plans to open four more locations, in Shanghai, Wuxi, Guangzhou and Xiamen (pictured), all before 2012.
In addition to Nikko Hotels, JAL Hotels also operates Hotel JAL City, a chain of 13 mid-priced hotels in Japan for business travelers.
JAL Hotels Co., Ltd currently has 58 hotels worldwide, in Europe, the Americas, the Middle East and throughout Japan and the Asia/Pacific region.
Other openings in the pipeline for the region include a 335-room Hotel Nikko Saigon in Vietnam.
