InterContinental Samui Baan resort to open in February

The InterContinental Samui Baan Taling Ngam Resort has announced it will open its doors on 1 February 2012 following an extensive renovation.
 
Located on the former site of Baan Taling Ngam Resort, the property boasts 79- guest residences, seven swimming pools, a private beach with 150m licensed jetty, a number of two-bedroom villas, world class dining and an expansive spa raised 120 meters above sea level. 
 
The property was renovated after being taken over by InterContinental Hotels Group earlier this year. It was originally scheduled to reopen on December 1. It will IHG’s second resort in Thailand following the opening of the InterContinental Hua Hin resort in 2009.
