Indonesian hotel management firm Tauzia launches new brand
30 July 2010Indonesia-based hotel management company Tauzia has developed a new hotel brand.
Called Pop! Hotels, the brand is described as a unique budget hotel brand for the smart and eco-friendly traveller.
“When developing Pop! Hotels, we had in mind to cater for the new generation of smart travelers who know exactly what they want,” said Tauzia president director Marc Steinmeyer.
“They choose a hotel that corresponds to their own style, standards and the budget that they are willing to spend for any given occasion and maximize it accordingly. They are what we callwell-traveled customers, always updated, constantly connected to their latest gadget, and people who prefer to plan their trips wellahead. For them value for money is important, but comfort is still everything.”
Tauzia said it has eight properties under the brand in the pipeline, all of which are scheduled to open within the next 12 to 18 months.
The first hotel under the new brand will open in Bali in September 2010. It will be followed by a further two properties in Bali, two in Jakarta, and one each in Manado, Yogyakarta, and Surabaya.
Room prices will start from IDR 300,000.
Established in 2001, Tauzia Hotel Management has two other brands: Harris Hotels & Resorts, with 15 hotels under management by 2012; and Preference Hotels, which has two properties under development.
