By HMA Staff 29 July 2010
Global hotel company Hilton Worldwide has announced the opening of an airport hotel under its Hilton Hotels brand in Beijing.

The Hilton Beijing Capital Airport hotel is the first luxury airport hotel in China, the company claims.

Located at Terminal Three, the 320-room property features seven restaurants and bars, two ballrooms and 21 meeting rooms with more than 3,000 square metres of meeting space.

“Hilton Beijing Capital Airport is a dynamic property that will become a top gateway to China, with international travelers staying overnight after long-haul flights before connecting to their final destinations,” said Hilton Worldwide area president Asia Pacific, Martin Rinck. “Hilton continues rapid growth across Asia and this hotel brings a new dimension to our growing portfolio in Beijing.”

Hilton said it is also developing airport hotels at the Frankfurt International Airport, and close to Chicago O’Hare International Airport.
