Hilton Cebu contract ends

By HMA Staff 30 March 2011

Hilton’s management contract for the Hilton Cebu Resort & Spa in the Philippines is to end on March 31.

A statement from Hilton said the termination of the management contract had been mutual.

"The termination of the management contract is mutually agreed upon and allows both parties to explore new opportunities independently. It will have no impact on the employment status of the local hotel team members who are employed by the owning company."

The resort is owned by Cebu-based hotel manager and operator Oikonomos International Resources Corporation.

Hilton Cebu Resort & Spa is a five-star boutique resort with 246 rooms, 74 of which are spa suites.
