Dusit Intl names new COO

Dusit International has appointed David Shackleton as chief operating officer. In this newly created role, Schackleton will drive the operational performance and maximization of profitability for all hotels within the group, the company said.
His previous experience includes VP level positions with Starwood and InterContinental.
In addition, Dusit International has appointed Ryan Chen as assistant director of development for South East Asia. It has also appointed Andrew Shaw as director of development for the Middle East and Sunil Mathur as vice president of South Asia.
