Conrad Bali plants mangrove trees

By HMA Staff 03 September 2010

The Conrad Bali resort has announced it has planted some 500 mangrove trees at the nearby Tengkulung Beach as part of its 2010 Conrad Bali Environmental programme.

“The team members at Conrad Bali felt strongly about playing a part in conserving the lovely beaches where Conrad Bali is situated on,” said Conrad Bali general manager Michael Burchett. “The planting of the mangrove trees will aid in the preservation of the coastal environment in Bali and also ensure the sustainability of the people and communitiesthat live here.”
