Mercer will report directly to Sean Hunt, Regional Vice President, Starwood Pacific Hotels and Managing Director, Sheraton on the Park.

Mercer began his career with Starwood in 2007 as executive assistant manager for The Westin Denarau Island Resort & Spa overseeing the property and leading the Fiji complex consisting of The Westin Resort and Spa, Sheraton Fiji Resort and Sheraton Denarau Resort.

His previous roles have included executive assistant manager, rooms division manager and front office manager at various properties in Australia where he has gained overall experience in all aspects of hotel operations.
