18 Kowloon East wins in Hong Kong awards

has announced that 18 Kowloon East has been honored with two major industry awards in Hong Kong. The mixed use building was conferred with the “Silver Award” at the inaugural Skyrise Greenery Awards 2012, and “Special Jury Award” at the Hong Kong Institute of Architects Annual Awards 2011.
The winning project is a 28-story mixed use building located in Kowloon Bay, Hong Kong.
Skyrise Greenery Awards 2012 was organized by the Greening Landscape and Tree Management Section of the Development Bureau of the government of Hong Kong, with the aim of promoting the development of quality skyrise greening, and giving recognition to projects that showcase the integration of skyrise greenery into the built environment of Hong Kong.
The Hong Kong Institute of Architects Annual Awards was first organized in 1965 to recognize the outstanding works of local architects.
Recently, 18 Kowloon East was also awarded “5 Star Award, Best Office Architecture for Hong Kong” in the annual Asia Pacific Property Awards 2012.
